Our ANDTEX event supporter, Hong Kong Nonwovens Association is going to organize a webinar with the central topic of "The Impact of Covid-19 Pandemic and Its Aftermath on the Nonwoven Industry", on December 7, 2020.
 


Under the influence of Covid-19, the nonwoven industry has seen significant boost in demand globally. Many Nonwoven companies worldwide are experiencing various opportunities but at the same time, they are also facing enormous challenges, some of these include:
 

  • The global change in government policies and regulations;
  • Trading relationship between countries/regions;
  • Influx of new suppliers;
  • Rapid change in production cost;
  • Quality assurance and control;
  • Supply chain;
  • Change in nonwoven usage;
  • New consumption pattern


The post-pandemic business landscape is going to be vastly different, characterised by increased supply (in some cases, phenomenally), renewed environmental concern, possible change from single use to reusable product design, etc.

The objective of this webinar is to identify and address some of these changes and their implications, and explore how industry players could cooperate in the face of this new business landscape.
